Cairo Cat Rescue & Rehoming Champions strives to rescue abandoned and injured cats, provide them with medical care, and find loving homes for them in the UK, Europe and North America. Our ultimate goal is to create a safe and happy forever home for cats in need.
We Rescue
We take in cats that have been neglected or abandoned, providing a safe space until they find a forever home.
We Rehabilitate
Our team offers medical care and rehabilitation, ensuring that every cat is healthy and ready for adoption.
We Rehome
We work tirelessly to match rescued cats with loving families, providing support throughout the adoption process.
We Fundraise
We engage with our international community to raise funds to rehabilitate and support the animals we rescue until they find their forever home .

Please note
We have recently received a number of requests from local people asking us to foster or re-home their cats. I'm afraid we cannot accept them.
We already have over 350 cats who urgently need our care and are one of the few Rescues left still taking in injured or abandoned cats. As many know we are finding it difficult to keep going as it is.
So please do not contact us as I'm afraid we cannot help. There are some organisations on social media which specialise in fostering or rehoming. We advise that you contact them.

Fundraising
We survive solely on the donations from our subscribers. It costs a minimum of £5000 per month to support our cats: that is to provide, food, litter, shelter, cleaning and veterinary care for over 350 cats and NO Admin costs. We live from hand to mouth and currently have no Reserves because of the spiralling cost of living in Egypt caused by the war in Ukraine. Unlike other local Cairo rescues we have not closed our doors to suffering cats.
Our sources of funding are as follows:
Sponsorship It costs £25 per month to sponsor a cat or £20 a kitten.

One-off Donations These are always welcome and can be paid via our PayPal account here
Events We run regular fundraising events such as scratch cards, raffles and auctions
Easyfundraising This way you can donate without spending a penny. Just sign up to Easyfundraising and when you make an online purchase at a lot of popular retailers they will donate a percentage of your spend. These retailers include the major supermarkets, John Lewis, holiday companies and insurers
